Camel-Lot
I traveled to New York over the weekend to meet and do power fittings with my new on-air talent, and I wore all black in preparation for the long flight, the crazy weather and the 5am wake up. But when I finally began to notice my surroundings pre-flight, I couldn’t help but spot a lot of camel pieces on other women traveling alongside me. All around were coats, cashmere scarves, sweaters and handbags in every shade and hue of rich caramel. I was reminded of my friend Molly who has been sporting a winning mix of camel and ivory the last few times I’ve seen her, looking so elevated and chic with her blonde locks and crisp white jeans. The combo immediately reads put-together, classic and simple. But to wear such light hues, I fear I would end up looking like a map of what I ate, combined with sharpie smudges of whatever project my 11 year old is currently working on and the remnants of what Raphael walked through on his neighborhood morning jaunt. But now, back in LA, after this rain stops, I think I am ready to try. Here’s what I’ve been eyeing:
