Tennis Anyone?

Not only is it time for the US Open— but it is also time for back-to-school and my daughter’s first day of 7th grade and day one (of four!) extracurricular tennis try out days at her new school. Though she is wearing a uniform now, her tennis gear is anything but uniform, thanks to my friend Molly, who works at Alo, and who generously gifted her some of the most fun pieces Toluca Lake Tennis  & Fitness Club’s  courts have ever seen. The colors are kicky and bright—neon greens and poppy watermelon pinks and she loves to mix and match them. Since I never learned how to play myself, but still love the tennis aesthetic, I find myself oogling some of the retro tennis-inspired pieces from High Sport, like the Asher Apron, worn below by the incomparable Lauren Santo Domingo. (The $890 High Sport kick pants are a fashion editor favorite and have sold out time and time again!) Oh, and the fabulous ensemble above? The pieces are from Recreational Habits which I love both because it is chic, but also because the logo is a regal RH—my cousin’s initials!
