Charmed, I’m sure
Over the holidays my brother gave me a box with 4 charms inside that I immediately recognized as my grandmother Dora’s. The second I saw them, I remembered being little and opening and closing the tiny jeweled purse while sitting next to her at a family event. They were my favorite of her jewelry because they were fun and well, the bag actually opens. I am thrilled to have them and plan to attach them to my gold link necklace to wear, though they used to adorn a bracelet. Charm necklaces are the “it” accessory right now —maybe a byproduct of DIY Taylor Swift bracelet making—and jewelry that is customized is having its moment. I love the ones that tell a story—zodiac signs, children’s initials, milestone markers, travel mementos etc. My faves, below:
Foundrae 18k Gold Personalized Oversized Heart Love Token Necklace
Jet Set Candy Charms, all available in Silver, Solid Gold or Vermeil
