Underthings

With the new year comes a chance to pare down closet clutter, organize your drawers and keep only tightly edited essentials, or like Marie Kondo emphasizes, only the things that spark joy. I got cozy new socks for the holidays and it ignited a complete underthings drawer overhaul. Did the floppy old GapBody basic panties I reached for everyday spark joy? No. But they were fine. Enter Understatement. The Scandinavian brand that found its way to my social media feed just at the right time. Perhaps it was their campaign of real women, with real bodies, all ages, wearing chic mesh high waisted briefs in polka dot or leopard print with matching bras that stopped me in my tracks.
