Other Mommys
Every time the creepy trailer for the horror film Other Mommy pops up, I immediately turn away. I was fooled once into watching it, thinking it was an ad for a new kind of mac n’ cheese, and quickly learned my lesson. But the other mommys at back-to-school night at my daughter’s school were anything but scary. I spotted chic, striped, colorful pants, chunky knits worn draped over the shoulders and some fun flare pants that I found out were a past piece from The Great after darting through the crowd and catching up with an unassuming sevvie mom (read: seventh grader mom) to ask. Guess I was the scary other mommy that night. Oh well, all in the name of fashion.
