When I was in my 20’s I wore a lot of skirts. Mostly mini skirts with tights. As I have gotten older, midi has become my length du jour and I’ve recently found myself back into skirts after what feels like a very long hiatus. To my surprise, the midi skirt is decidedly unfussy and a great reprieve from the usual jeans or trouser. It pairs just as easily with an oversized sweater as it does with a vintage rock tee or tailored blazer and is a great transition piece. When the weather turns, add tights and boots or socks and heels and let your skirt do the chic factor heavy lifting.
