Natalie Martin Fiore maxi dress in green, red, burgundy

I love dresses, always have. Easy, always put-together looking and most times more comfy than pants or jeans. Since living in LA, I have become more adept at repurposing my dresses to last more than one season, as the secret sauce here is all about layering. Think thin long sleeve layer (or thin turtleneck) under a sleeveless dress, adding a sweater or chunky cardigan over top or adding tights and boots underneath. Some of my faves that transition really well are Natalie Martin’s Fiore Maxi (above), Maison Mayle’s Palma dress, and this cashmere knit beauty (I’d add a leather belt) by the Australian brand Flannel. If you are headed to someplace tropical for the holidays, (lucky you!) try this light and breezy Cult Gaia and always right Rachel Comey.
