East Coat

We are headed to NY to visit friend and family for the holidays and I am so excited. We will spend a few days in Manhattan, then to my brother’s beautiful home in Montclair, NJ. And I need to bring a coat. I remember the brutally long winters in New York where I couldn’t wait , after wearing it for months, to retire the parka I wore daily,. So sick of wearing that same coat, I (more than once) would donate it immediately as the temperature thawed. When my friend Sara moved to LA a few years before we did, she posted a photo (on Facebook!) of her throwing her worn-to-death winter coat out at the airport. I was so jealous.
