I am so tired of tiny bags. They are impossible to fit the essentials—at least my essentials. If Elle Magazine ever did a What’s in her bag? article about me you would find: my phone, wet wipes, my daughter’s epi pen (the huge one, thanks new insurance) as well as her inhaler, Chapstick, a Ziplock of Old Thyme Pretzels (could be stuck in LA traffic) lipstick, gum, a tissue packet, Gelson’s $5 coupons, my wallet, a book, Advil, sunglasses, hair elastics and a small claw clip, a bully stick and extra poop bags, 3 See’s lollipops (incase of emergency) a mini Supergoop! sunblock, a bottle of water, three batteries that need recycling (where can you do this now?) and my keys—which are attached to the silliest giant fob for the tiniest of cars. And I am not even accounting for going out with an extra makeup pouch and mirror. So thank goodness for the nonchalant, under the armpit carried, extra large clutches that flood my instagram feed. Not sure where to put them when you arrive at the restaurant, nor how to protect yourself from thieves, but boy are they gorgeous and I have been coveting the Bottega Veneta below, for some time now. Swoooooon.
