October
October is known for the color pink as much as it is for black and orange and all things Halloween. The month kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with many designers, beauty companies and more dedicating products to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research and it is a cause extremely close to my heart. Sadly, like many, I have lost loved ones to breast cancer, and have personally been in remission now for almost 5 years. I was fortunate enough to have been part of a clinical study that not only saved my life, but has gone on to save many more, thanks to the brilliant minds that are continually researching treatments and cures. But there wouldn’t be any ongoing research without funding, so to those who give or walk or support or shop for the cure, I am eternally grateful.
