After a rollercoaster of emotions over the past week over secondary school admissions decisions here in LA (on par with the college admissions process nowadays) in addition to planning a 12th birthday murder mystery party for 15 girls at our house, (yes, we wrote the script ourselves!) thrifting and fitting the costumes for the school play, (three shows this week!) I am absolutely ready for a calm, no-real-plans-except-to-go-to-the -beach-in-Malibu-with-family, over spring break. Bring on Friday! I am also looking forward to embracing the cozy, Aviator Nation sweatshirt and sweatpant vibe of beach life and part of that is packing easy peasy no-thought lifestyle outfits to romp around in. All perfect as my off-duty uniform to go with my glass of wine.
