I never played tennis, but wish I did. (I’m more of a ping pong girl). So really my only memory of tennis was when I was in high school and my friend Amy, who was obsessed with Andre Agassi and his long blonde locks, told me to ask for him and handed me the phone as if it were a hot potato. She had found out which hotel he was staying at while playing in the OTB Open in Schenectady, New York and that’s how I ended up waking up a very groggy soon-to-be tennis icon, without even knowing who I was talking to. Girls. Fast forward to today and I am on my daughter to keep up her lessons in an attempt to get on the JV team at school next fall, with part of my pitch to her being, of course, the fantastic gear. I have nothing but LOVE when it comes to tennis style, which has gotten so chic it can easily go from the courts to cocktail hour. So even if your game is sub par, your look won’t be.
