When my daughter was little, I found a cotton blend, navy blue poncho/cape/cardigan hybrid with toggle buttons on Ebay that she wore all. of. the. time. It was the perfect layer/LA jacket and it magically went with everything. But she must have misheard me when I told her to go get her poncho, because she called it a concho for years. We all added the new word to our family lexicon, as it seemed to describe the cable knit creation (rounded hem, fitted cuffs, part cardigan, part cape) better than poncho could and I have been trying to find the adult version ever since. These came close to earning the moniker.
