Barrel of Fun
As the ever-changing denim silhouette morphs each year, I am always on board when the fit is easier, more comfortable and flatters everyone. That seems to be the case with Barrel Leg jeans, the denim cut du jour, as their relaxed, ample leg, ankle-ish length and mid to high waist is forgiving for most body types and feels loose enough to be able to live life in while still being stylish. The trick is finding the right barrel for you. My faves, starting with the grand dame OG of the cut, Nili Lotan, who has had this shape since the beginning and has perfected the barrel leg with her Shon Mid--Rise, above.
