Lately I have been purging my closet with a sharper eye and actually forcing myself to try on every piece that I am on the fence about keeping (which all inevitably ended up in either donations, RealReal consignment or the give to my daughter pile) to make way for a tightly edited, more grown-up and wearable closet of only things that I love and that. actually. fits. me. Think Marie Kondo, but without all of the intricate folding. But the spots where my wardrobe is lacking are because I haven’t yet found the perfect replacement. Until now. These are the things that are poised to replace some of the ill-fitting, not quite as perfect iterations (read: cheap/impulsive) that I’ve bought in the past.
