These Boots Are Made For Walking
Since moving to LA from New York City, the heels on my shoes have gotten increasingly lower. In fact, most days I can be found wearing sneakers, slides or flats. Yet all of my boots still have high heels, that is, until recently. When my daughter asked for knee high boots for the holidays, we went on a quest for the perfect low, block heel, which turned out to be a challenge. She settled on the vegan leather pair from Target! (the ones I linked to in my holiday gifting post, now sold out) and I have to admit, they look fantastic for their $35 price tag and I’ve borrowed them more than a few times. Our search got me wanting to replace some of my too-high-for-LA-mom-mode heels with something low and wearable with dresses when the temperature dips, but with a bit of a lift to keep me on my toes for whatever comes my way.
